Title: Senior Director of Sales
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
Type of position: Full-time, Exempt, Commissions
The Senior Director of Sales will oversee the HOF Sales Team, inclusive of the Premium Seating and Website Sales Executive, Event Sales Executive, the Centennial Plaza and Promotional Sales Executive and the Manager of HOF Experiences and Tourism.
Responsible for generating new business and overseeing the sales process for various HOF initiatives and events including digital advertising for the Pro Football Hall of Fame website, the annual Museum Membership Program, Official Fan Packages, single ticket and premium space sales, hospitality events, promotional sales and Centennial Plaza advertising sales.
Will be expected to meet or exceed established monthly and yearly revenue and ticket goals with a results-driven approach.
Build strong relationships with prospects and clients through proactive communication, driving opportunities for up-sells, cross-sells, add-ons, and referrals.
Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly sales plans to develop and grow the sales team.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred area of concentration: General Business, Marketing/Sales or Communications.
7+ years of Business to Business or Business to Customer experience or a combination of both.
5+ years of team development or management experience.
Experience with inbound and outbound telemarketing, digital advertising and lead generation.
Substantial portfolio of successful sales executions and fulfillment.
Detailed understanding of Customer Relationship Management platforms and processes.
Detailed understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
Demonstrates excellent customer service and follow up skills.
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
Has achieved a substantial portfolio of successful sales executions and fulfillment.
Exhibits a high level of organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Possesses dynamic leadership qualities including a demonstrated collaborative approach.
Demonstrates professional excellence at all times.
